לתיאור כתבי היד והספרים בקטלוג, נלוות הערות היסטוריות וביוגרפיות ארוכות ורבות. בין כתבי היד המתוארים נמצאים כתבי יד וספרים יהודיים, לצד כתבי יד וספרים בשפות נוספות, ביניהן לטינית, יוונית, ועוד. בכרך הראשון מתוארים כתבי היד ושני הכרכים הנותרים מוקדשים למהדורות תנ"ך רבות בשפות שונות.
עם דפי לוחות ובהם פקסימיליות של כתבי יד יהודיים ולטיניים.
אוסף הספרייה נמכר מאוחר יותר, בשנים 1844-1845.
כרך ראשון: [4], 24, [4], ccxciv עמ'. כרך שני: [20], 516-17, [4] עמ'. חסרים עמ' [21-24] ועמ' 16-1 (עמ' 16-1 הושלמו בצילום). כרך שלישי: [4], LIII, [3], 587, [1] עמ'. 26.5 ס"מ. נייר מעט יבש (בעיקר הכרך השלישי). מצב כללי טוב. כתמים. קרעים בחלק מהדפים בכרך השלישי, ללא פגיעה בטקסט. פגמים קלים. כריכות חדשות, אחידות.
