A Fine and Important Silver Amulet Necklace (Lazem), Yemen, Late 19th Century
Description: Composed of five elements finely decorated with filigree and turquoise in the traditional motif and connected by 3 rows of silver and coral beads. Three large cylindrical amulets are suspended from the central elements, terminating in tassles of braided silver chain.
