2017, Acrylic painting on Panel / Board / MDF, . 31 x 37 x 2 in (framed) / 31 x 37 x 2 in (unframed) / 24 x 30 in (actual image size). This was a play on an old painting of mine of a Elizabethan style portrait of a woman in a gown holding a pear necklace. I deconstructed the old image to create an updated portrait of this woman. I made a frame for the painting and paint the frame as well. I added a pixelated snowflake for whimsy.
