Das Manifest fun di Kamunistishe Partey [The Manifesto of the Communist Party], by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Introduction by Karl Kautsky. [Geneva]: The Bund, 1899. Yiddish.
One of the first Yiddish Edition of the Communist Manifesto. Printed by the Bund on behalf of the Russian Social-Democratic Labor Party (the party was founded in 1898 in Minsk and brought together all the revolutionary socialist organizations of the Russian Empire, including the Jewish Bund Party).
The Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, was first printed in 1848 in London. Over the years, the German original was translated into dozens of languages and published in many editions. The manifesto was commissioned by the Communist League (the first international communist organization, active during 1847-1852), and over the years became the most famous text of the communist movement and one of the world's most well-known and influential political texts.
