Yanovskaya Olga Dmitrievna (1900-1998).
Outstanding Soviet artist, painter, teacher; she painted thematic paintings, portraits and landscapes, tried herself in the art of propaganda. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. The wife of the famous painter Georgy Ryazhsky. Olga Yanovskaya studied at a private art studio in Kiev (1916). From 1922 she lived and worked in Moscow, where she attended classes at the studio of Ilya Mashkov (from 1923), the central studio of the Academy of Arts (1928–1929). Yanovskaya taught at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. The works of O.D. Yanovskaya are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, many regional museums.
