Gamda was the name of a toy brand of the parent company Habonim in Kibbutz Kfar Hanasi, located in the north of the country, north of the Sea of Galilee and near the border with the Golan Heights.
In the Six-Day War with Syria in 1967, the factory was damaged and needed repairs - production soon resumed. Koor was a company name that was added later.
