"Popular books in the natural sciences", four volumes by Aharon David Bernstein (1812-1884) who was a journalist, philosopher, and author of popular science books. He was also one of the thinkers of Reform Judaism. These books include many illustrations, on topics such as astronomy, animals, plants, biology, chemistry and more. Hardcover with beautiful illustrations.
Yiddish, 21X15 cm. Overall good condition, the cover of the first volume is torn in the spine.
