Bibliographers disagree about when and where this work was printed. The title page lists “Kushta” without a year. M. Benayahu, in his article “Turkish Imprints actually printed in Italy” (Sinai, 72, 1973) claims that it was printed in Venice, Italy c. 1603, at the press of Daniel Zanetti. However, Y. Yudlov, rejects this theory in his article “The Hebrew press in Mantua…” (Kiryat Sefer, 49, 1974).
