Rabbi Yom Tov Tzahalon (1559-1638) was a prominent talmid chacham in Safed. He was a talmid of Rabbi Yosef Karo and the Mabit. He received semichah from Mahram Alshich, who received semichah from Rav Yosef Karo, who received it from Mahari Beirav.
