A document in a foreign language, dated 1870, handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yosef Moshe Staupawy Zilberberg. The document bears a red wax seal.
Rabbi Yosef Moshe Staupawy Zilberberg (1797-1877) was born in Senitz. His father was Rabbi Efraim Fishel Staupawy, Av Beis Din of Warshauer. In 1833, he was appointed Av Beis Din of Tinnye, a position he held until his passing in 1877.
Among his noted disciples was Rabbi Moshe Fürst, author of
Mareh Moshe. The Chasam Sofer responded to his halachic inquiries in Orach Chaim, Siman 177, and in Choshen Mishpat, Siman 147.
