חיבור מקיף על תולדות בעל האור החיים שכתב הבקי והידען הנודע רבי ראובן מרגליות. רבי מאיר דן פלוצקי מגדולי רבני פולין עבר על הספר, ושלח למחבר הערות שהוא כתב על פירוש האור החיים על התורה.
