המחבר הרב יעקב חי זריהן (תרכ"ט-תשי"ג) היה רב, ראש ישיבה, אב בית דין בטבריה, וממנהיגי הקהילה היהודית בעיר.
הסכמות הראשון לציון וחכם באשי יעקב מאיר, ורבנים נוספים מירושלים, צפת וטבריה.
בגב דף השער מזמור "למנצח בנגינות" בצורת מנורה.
חתימות בעלים, הרב שלום הדאיה, והרב עזרא במהר"ש הדאיה.
