Das Klevesche Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 43 der Preußischen Armee wurde mit Stiftungstag vom 25. März 1899 gegründet. Das Regiment hatte seine Garnison in Wesel, und zwar in der Klever-Tor-Kaserne. In der Friedensgliederung bis 1914 gehörte das Regiment zur 14. Feldartillerie-Brigade (Sitz in Wesel), diese zur 14. Division (Düsseldorf), und diese zum VII. Armee-Korps.

An excellent etched blade to three sides showing fine ornaments as well as military motifs.
Furthermore inscription " Clevesches Feldartill. Reg. No 43". Slight stains.
Nickel-plated iron hilt fittings. A leather finished wooden grip. Wire wrapping.
Nickel-plated steel scabbard. No dents.
An overall matching sabre!
Length saber in a scabbard: 94 cm.
