Jacob Classon (17th century, active 1658 - 1675) ‘Landscape with the old church in Scheveningen and the old fire beacon at the right’, signed ‘J. Classon’ bottom center. This is a variation on a composition by Anthony Jansz van der Croos (1606/07-1662/63). Classon worked in 1658 (at least) as an assistant in the studio of Anthony Jansz van der Croos. Oil on canvas, 47 x 65 cm.
