Yemenite Tāj. 17th Century
Yemenite Tāj manuscript. Chumashim: Vayikra, Bamidbar, Devarim. Yemen, 17th century.
The manuscript includes the chumash text with vowelization and cantillation. Targum Onkelos follows each verse, as well as the Targum by Rabbi Sa'adiah Gaon to Judeo-Arabic. Yemenite script.
Approximately 200 leaves. 15x22 cm. Several styles of script. Signed confirmation from Professor Binyamin Richler included.
Fine condition. Aging and mold stains. Restoration to the margins of several leaves with slight blemish to the text. Lacking the last leaf. Elegant (new) leather binding.
