Chok Yaakov. Work on the Shulchan Aruch, laws of Pesach, with the text of the Shulchan Aruch, by Rabbi Yaakov Reischer. Brunn, 1764.
[1], 138, [2] leaves, erroneous pagination, 21 cm. The two last leaves feature woodcut illustrations. Owner signatures and various notations.
Rabbi Yaakov Reischer (1660-1773) was born in Prague and was the Rabbi of Reische, Galicia – where he gained his surname "Reischer". He later served as Rabbi of Worms and Metz where he passed away. He was a leading halachic posek of his time and the author of many works.
Old, blemished, shaky binding. Aging stains. Fine condition.
