Responsa of Rabbi Asher b"r Yechiel (Rosh) Venice, [1607]. Handwritten glosses by Sephardic sages.
Leaves 2-158; without its title page and 40 concluding leaves, 28 cm.
Marginal glosses by Sephardic rabbis. Leaf 2a bears the remains of a curvy, Sephardic signature with the surname Chanin, apparently by Rabbi Yitzchak Chanin, Salonica sage author of "Bnei Yitzchak", (passed away in 1745). Another comment (leaf 98b) seems to indicate that the writer corresponded with the author of the "Mishne L'Melech"!
Old binding. Worming holes in the gutter. Aging stains. Moderate condition.
