The author was born in Poland in 1739 and served as Rabbi of Furth. He passed away in 1819.
The right endpaper bears a rectangular bookplate that opens with the words "יקבל מעלתו". The author wrote the name of the person who received the book on a blank line and then signed his name. Over the years, the dedication was torn and only half remains. However, the author's signature is still legible. The word כהן is completely clear along with the last ן of his name "Meshulem Zalman".
Original cardboard binding with blemished backstrip. Fine-very fine condition.
