Rabbi Dovid Sofer – Schreiber was a grandson of the "Chatam Sofer", Rabbi of Prešov and Nasi Eretz Yisrael on behalf of "Kollel Galicia". He asks Rabbi Moshe Lorberbaum, grandson of Rabbi Yaakov Lorberbaum, the "Chavat Da'at", and leader of the Ashkenazic Jewish community in Safed, to help him organize the management of the Galicia Kollel in Safed. The letter details his plan of action.
