Letter of encouragement from Rabbi Mordechai Gifter to a student in the Chevron Yeshiva [1980]. In his hand and with his signature. Guidance for success in Torah study with some personal details about himself.

Rabbi Mordechai Gifter [1917-2001] was the Rosh Yeshiva of Telz and a prominent Torah sage in America. He traveled from the United States to study Torah in Telz, Lithuania. After returning home, he studied in Yeshivas Ner Yisroel in Baltimore. In 1944, he was appointed Mashgiach in the Telz Yeshiva. His works include "Pirkei Torah" and "Pirkei Moed".
Torn in the upper margins, missing the date. Fold marks. Fine condition.
