Illuminated manuscript on parchment, by scribe Itzik Hirsh. Alt-Often [Old Buda, incorporated into Budapest]. [1779].
Includes: Seder HaKiddush (including Shalom Aleichem, Ribon kol Ha'Olamim and Eshet Chayil); Birkat HaMazon; Yehi Ratzon recited after the Torah reading; Acheinu Kol Beit Yisrael; Kiddush Levana; Chanuka candle lighting; shir shel yom for the entire week; ceremony for the redemption of the first-born son; order for changing someone's name; eiruv tavshilin; mishebeirach for the sick and those fasting on beha"v; and the 'Aneinu' prayer for times of drought. Instructions in ivri-teitsch.
[18] leaves. 9.5x10 cm.
Nice, print letters. Most paragraph titles are in large red letters. Red border around each page. The title page on leaf [3] is illustrated with an architectural border, blurred. The title page notes that the manuscript was made for הר"ר נתן ש"ץ וחזן פה ק"ק אובין ישן. It was finished on Thursday, the 4th of Tevet, 1779 in Alt-Often by scribe Itzik Hirsh….
Original leather binding with new slipcase. Erasures on solitary leaves. Missing one leaf at the end of Birkat HaMazon and the beginning of Kiddush Levana. Ink faded in a number of places, beautifully restored during a later period. Some illustrations were also added later.
