Antique Leather Binding with Silver Plaques, Buckles and Clasps. Germany, Holland? Cent. 18
Impressive and elegant leather binding in a dark brown color, decorated and adorned with 14 impressive silver reliefs, with a pair of intact sliver buckles for locking.
Antique leather binding, luxurious and impressive. The eight corners of the [front and back] sides of the binding have eight silver protectors with floral etchings. In the centers of the [front and back] bindings are a pair of silver plaques, apparently for engraving the owner's name. In addition, a pair of large and impressive buckles, also made of ornate silver.
10x17 cm.
The binding is in fine condition. Light tears in the corners of the spine.
