Der Legianern Album. Composition of the Jewish Legion in WWI “The Hebrew Battalions” by Mo[she] Padalski. Buenos Aires, 1918. 63 [1] leaves, 19.5 cm. Yiddish, and at the end are several pages in Spanish and Russian. Articles, poems, a biography, and pictures of tens of legionnaires. There is a large picture of Zev Jabotinsky, founder of the “Hebrew Battalions.” On the back cover are pictures of lions and Jewish stars.The “Hebrew Battalions” fought along with British troops in the conquest of the land of Israel. The booklet is bound in an envelope. Small tear with loss in the envelope. Some age stains. Fine-very fine condition.
