Especially beautiful letter, loaded with blessings handwritten and signed by Rabbi Alter Segal - a patriarch of Chassidut in the Land of Israel, friend of the Ba'al HaTanya and maternal grandson of the Admo"r Rabbi Ya'akov Shimshon of Shepetivka. Sent to the head of the Clerks and Administrators in Amsterdam. Tiberias, 25 Nissan, 1885.
In his letter, Rabbi Alter Segal expresses his gratitude to the leaders of the Clerks and Administrators for their support for the residents of Tiberias for the upcoming Passover holiday "To revive these souls, because these days even a little is considered significant." At the end of the letter, Rabbi Alter expresses his blessings "May your eyes gaze upon Hashem's return of his people to Zion, and may you have the merit of ascending with the thrice-yearly pilgrimage to our Beit HaMikdash, the glory of the Jewish people, with love and appreciation as befits your lofty status, the youth Avraham Yosef HaLevi."
