Especially beautiful certificate of appreciation from the seven city dignitaries of Kollel Romania in Safed. Handwritten notation and signature in the margins by the gaon Rabbi Raphael Silverman, rabbi of Safed. Safed, 1913. Certificate with gilt ink in beautiful scribal lettering.

The certificate was given to Rabbi Avraham Isaac Daniel, president and administrator of the kollel in Iasi, Romania, for his activities related to the estate of the late Mrs. Sarah Yuta Daniel on behalf of members of the kollel. The rabbis who signed point out the extreme hunger in the Land, the high cost of living and more, praising her immense assistance and the merit of the mitzvah of the deceased by her donation to members of the kollel, blessing the gvir, president of the kollel, and the extended Daniel family for all their great deeds.

Signed by: the heads of Kollel Romania - rabbis and leaders of the Jewish community of Safed at the time: Rabbi Nachum Etrog, Rabbi David Segal, Rabbi Ya'akov Gottlieb, Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Markowitz, Rabbi Baruch Yosef Rokeach, Rabbi Ben Tziyon Shapira and the kollel scribe. The gaon Rabbi Raphael Silverman, rabbi and av beit din, signed under the signatures of the above rabbis and leaders of the kollel.
