Handwritten Letter from the Admo"r the 'Abir Ya'akov' of Sadigura to Rabbi Meshulam Roth
Letter from the sacred Admo"r Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov Friedman, author of Abir Ya'akov of Sadigura, to the gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth, av beit din of Chernowitz. Tel-Aviv, 1949.
The letter is enshrouded in hints; we do not know exactly what the subject matter is. It appears it may be regarding the Admo"r's mediation attempts on Rabbi Meshulam's behalf. The Admo"r and Rabbi Meshulam were known to have had a long-standing relationship. The Admo"r even recommended establishing a yeshivah to be run by Rabbi Meshulam (this recommendation did not materialize).
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for brief biographies of the Admo"r Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov of Sadigura, author of Abir Ya'akov and the gaon Rabbi Meshulam Roth, av beit din of Chernowitz.
[1] leaf paper, typewritten, with the Admo"r's signature. 27.5x22 cm.
Fine-very fine condition. Fold marks and slight stains.
