Tabur HaAretz – The Greatness of the Holy City of Tiberias, by the Gaon and Chassid Rabbi Moshe Klirs, Av Beit Din of Tiberias. Jerusalem, 5666 [1906]. First Edition.
The holy gaon and chassid Rabbi Moshe Klirs [1874-1934] served as the Av Beit Din of Tiberias and as the Rosh Yeshiva of Or Torah. He was the son-in-law of the chassid Rabbi Yehuda Leib Kastelnitz and was deeply connected to Chassidut Slonim, remaining a devoted disciple of the Divrei Shmuel and the Beit Avraham of Slonim, serving as their emissary in Tiberias.
He founded and established Yeshivat Or Torah on the tomb of Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes in Tiberias. A distinguished Torah scholar, he was a fierce advocate for Jewish traditions and among the most prominent rabbis in Eretz Israel. His works include Torat HaAretz, Tabur HaAretz, Moreshet Moshe, and more.
