Volume of Teshuvot Chatam Sofer – Copy of Rabbi Akiva Bleich of Krasna
A distinguished copy of Teshuvot Chatam Sofer, formerly belonging to Rabbi Akiva Bleich of Krasna, with his handwritten signature on the title pages, alongside the signature of Rabbi Simcha Bunim Bleich and an additional unidentified signature in Chelek Vav.

Even HaEzer, Part I – Includes laws of procreation, marriage, agunot, kiddushin, and ketubot. Pressburg, 1858. First Edition. [1], 94, [4] leaves.
Even HaEzer, Part II – Includes laws of gittin, yibum and chalitzah, sotah, marriage, agunot, kiddushin, and ketubot. Vienna, 1877. 86, [1] leaves.
Choshen Mishpat – Vienna, 1872. [1], 80, [2] leaves.
Part VI – Additional responsa not included in the previous five parts, with novellae on Perek Lulav HaGazul and Masechet Avodah Zarah. Vienna, 1864. First Edition. [1], 61 leaves.
Provenance – Rabbi Akiva Bleich of Krasna:
Rabbi Akiva Bleich was born in Paks in 1883 and was a disciple of Rabbi Simcha Bunim Sofer (the Shevet Sofer). He also studied under Rabbi Eliezer Zusman Sofer in Paks and Rabbi Yehuda Grunwald in Satmar.
He corresponded with all the leading Hungarian rabbis of his time, and numerous responsa addressed to him were published in Shu"t Da’at Sofer.
He was murdered in the Holocaust. For more information, see Chatam Sofer U’Talmidav, p. 607.
Condition:
Generally good. Small tears on a few leaves. Final leaf repaired. Antique binding, spine detached.
