About the Author:
Rabbi Yehoshua Zelig Tarshish Segal, known as "Rabbi Zelig Kelemer, " was a renowned tzaddik and ascetic, who lived in seclusion from worldly matters for many years while immersing himself in Torah and Avodat Hashem in Slabodka and Kelm.
Served as a rabbi in Lithuania, later immigrating to Eretz Yisrael, where he passed away in 1940, nearly 90 years old.
His prayers were awe-inspiring, instilling tremendous reverence in those around him.
His Talmudic and halachic novellae were published in three volumes under the title "Ayin Tarshish."
