Small Gold Medal from Venezuela, 1963
Small gold medal, part of a series of medals prepared by a Swiss Bank for Venezuela with scenic views of Venezuela. This coin has an impression of Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world. Most of the known medals in this series weigh 3.3 grams. There were a number of versions of this series; it is not properly documented. This medal weighs approximately 1.5 grams and is relatively rare.
