Anti-Semitic play about the Ten Plagues and the Exodus from Egypt by Carl Maria Seypple. The book is filled with pictures and caricatures of the Exodus from Egypt. The Jewish figure is drawn in a typical anti-Semitic style, with a long nose. Intense illustrations, with much ink, some of them colored in red.
[2], 42 pages. 26.5 cm. Printed on thick cardboard.
Moderate-fine condition. Aging stains. Folds in the edges of the cloth binding and the leaves. Cloth-covered cardboard binding. Artful round opening in the front binding to view the title of the book on the title page.
