Letter with a Psychological-Literary Feel by the Rebbe of Lubavitch to his Cousin, "The Poetess Zelda." Adar, 1954.
Letter from the Admo"r of Lubavitch to his only cousin, Zelda Schneersohn-Mishkovsky (known as "HaMeshoreret Zelda") - a renowned and admired poetess. Adar, 1954. Brooklyn, New York.

The Rebbe was well-versed in many subjects and took interest in all disciplines. It is known that members of the Sanhedrin were required to be expert in all the world's wisdom. He requests that the poetess Zelda send her published writings to him. The Rebbe also adds a psychological-literary diagnosis that what a person writes for publication does not reveal his true personality, but it is possible, nevertheless, to identify his general character ...

[1] official stationery paper on an aerogram. 30 cm. The letter is typewritten, with a number of letters and corrections handwritten by the Rebbe, signed by him at the end; very fine condition. Fold marks.
