Words of appreciation for the artist, from an article written by his admirer Timna Rubinger, which appears on the website of the Museum for the Heritage of Hungarian-Speaking Jewry in Safed, reads the following:

Shlomo Yedidya was an artist and craftsman in the field of graphics, who devoted his life to developing a unique style of Hebrew decoration - ornament of the square Hebrew letter.

As a member of a generation that lived and worked during the transition between the centuries, Shlomo Yedidya absorbed ideas of the period, including national awakening and artistic awakening. His creation gives expression to this existence, and reflects his search for the unique characteristic of the Jewish people -

The Hebrew letter, the Hebrew language and the Land of Israel.
